Tomorrow and the day after Swinburne is gonna have a Recruitment Drive at the Auditorium from 9am until 5pm. Our club is going to have a booth there as well. We’ll be showing some anime trailers, some of the member’s collections and recruiting new members of course. New members are entitled to one of these newly made bookmarks. They are in limited quantity so first come first serve! (Those who joined us before this drive is also entitled to one.)

We’ll still have our General Meeting this Friday (18 March 2011) @ G901 as usual from 1.30pm until 4.30pm. Those who come earlier than the stated time may see something interesting and join in if lucky enough. XD

Leech party

Venue: G705

Date: 26^th November 2010

Time: 10:30 am to 5:30 pm

The leech party is the last meeting for SAMS. This party lets you share and obtain anime that you can enjoy during the holidays~ Details stated below:

1.       The party is public, so bring your friends who love anime.

2.       To leech anime you need storage space. Bring your storage space to your meeting. Laptop, hard drives, pen drives, bring them all!

3.       It is recommended to bring a laptop if you have one because copying from hard disk to hard disk through a laptop is very long. You can just copy it into the laptop instead~

4.       Please scan your laptop and storage devices before the leech party. They should be virus free.

5.       If you have anime of your own, do bring them along and share them.

6.       If you have extension plugs, please bring them. The room won’t have enough electric sockets.

7.       Please keep watch of your possessions. You might end up misplacing them.

8.       If you have anime you want, prepare a list so you don’t forget when the time comes. And also prepare a list of anime you’re bringing.

9.       Don’t focus on one person. There are other people who might have brought the same anime.

10.   Don’t burn them in CDs. It takes too long and your laptop will burn out.

11.   Transfer one series at a time. Transferring multiple series at once would lag/stall/crash you laptop. Or it just take freaking long..

12.   Do remember to COPY, NOT cut.

13.   If you have classes in between the leech party. Plan your time so you can finish transferring in time for your class and not end up leaving your devices behind.

14.   Sharing any inappropriate materials [porn, hentai, malicious software] is strictly not allowed.

15.   Do take your time to enjoy the leech party. There is seven hours for you to transfer all the anime you want. So don’t rush.

16.   Don’t watch the anime you transferred after the leech party.. STUDY =_=”
