The first anime convention in Kuching!

This convention is organized by Boulevard Shopping Mall, and it’s going to be on 25th July 2009 – 2nd August 2009. It will be held in the shopping mall itself.

Date: 25th July 2009 – 2nd August 2009
Venue: Boulevard Shopping Mall
Time: 11:00am – 10:30pm

There will be a Cosplay Costume Competition on 25th-26th July 2009, and a Cosplay Skit Competition on 1st-2nd August 2009. Anyone can take part. Forms can be downloaded at the end of this post.

* Prizes have yet to be confirmed… but we know it’s going to be BIG….

SAMS will be opening a booth for exhibition and photo taking near the indoor stage area. All members are encouraged to bring your figurines and model kits to display (don’t worry, we will seal all of them up in the cabinet for all 9 days ). We will be there to man the booth on 25th-26th July and 1st-2nd August (yeah 4 days only). WE NEED AS MANY FIGURES AS WE CAN!

All members are encouraged to cosplay! You still have some time left to fix up on your costumes… Don’t forget this event is going to be big! Cosplay your best character and costume and who knows you can participate in the competitions!
