There will be no General Meeting on this Friday as it is a public holiday.

Please do bring along your friends who are interested to join SAMS in the next General Meeting. Preferably girls as the male skew is dominating the club and some guys even resort to YAOI.

So why are we in a dire situation? Well, its the library – not the YAOI problem. We left 9 spare DVDs to burn media. As you can see our request list is L-O-N-G and even a primary school kid knows all that won’t fit into 9 DVDs.

So what to do?

• Option 1: Bring your friends to join in the club to increase club funds to purchase more discs.
• Option 2: Wait until next semester.
• Option 3: Donate monetary resources to the library.
• Option 4: Rob the bank.
• Option 5: Return to last save point.

On the other hand, the library has added 15 new titles (13 series + 2 movies). Check the LIBRARY page for more details.

Reminder: Requests and reservations are done through IRC – Just drop Bunnie a message.

Those who are not familiar with IRC, please follow the 4 (four) simple steps below.

The Swinburne Anime and Manga Society will be holding a welcoming dinner for new and potential members this coming Saturday, interacting with each other will be the most enjoyable, trust me There will be a lot of fun and surprises in store for those attending. Everyone is invited, including non-members who are interested in finding out what the club is about!

Which is your pick? (Actually I wanted to make a small review for all animes being shown this Spring 2009 but it was too damn long. And if you noticed, the sucky Internet line also.)

I’m personally picking FMA: Brotherhood, cause I’m one big fan of FMA. Next is Hatsukoi Limited, cause I’ve been following this mangaka’s manga since her beginning, and a few famously known titles such as Akane-chan Overdrive and Ichigo 100%/Strawberry 100%.

Sengoku Basara will be on my list too. K-ON! for band/gigs lovers, and also in my list. The rest? I’ll catch up later. I have too many to watch. Losing my not-so-near-status-as-otaku already. xD. Not to mention, lack of hdd space and so much backlogs.
