I am very sorry for the inconvenience but this matters can’t be avoided. Due to many faults by me and my peers, the competition is indeed poorly prepared.

I apologize sincerely once again on behalf of SAMS and hope that this event will be my last blunder.

Still remember last semester when I told you all that we could be having a trip to Singapore for AFA 2010? Considering that the date and location has finally been confirmed, I think it is a good time to announce this to all of you, again.

The date of the AFA 2010 is on the 13-14 November 2010 which are on a Saturday and Sunday at Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Halls 403-404. As such, it is planned that we go to Singapore on a fine Friday afternoon (12/11/10) and return early in the morning of Monday (15/11/10). There’s a risk you’ll miss some classes at that time so be wary of that.

For this trip, most of the expenses will be paid by yourself and some will be lightened by the club. So, if you think you can go, quickly answer this blog post or the SAMS’s IRC channel (#SAMS@Rizon) or contact us via email (contact AT sams-site DOT org). A rough estimate of RM800 is required for the trip (unless you want to buy stuff and so on).

The faster you respond to this post, the better the price for the flight tickets, seriously, as well as the availability of a place to stay during that time. So, make haste! Ask your parents, renew or get a passport.

For your information, it is planned that we use Tiger Airways and Feel at Home Backpackers Hostel. IF you feel that these options are inadequate or you can find something better, please suggest away. =)
